I just picked up a Maverick 88 18.5" 6 shot barrel for $175, I also bought a pistol grip/buttstock combo for it($40).

no more than what this will be used for, I do not feel compelled to spend $350 bucks, for a knock around gun.

When it comes to Mossberg.Mavrick I think a lot of people get confused between inexpensive and cheap.
