Case Mouth question
Hey guys, Not very familiar with the reloading process in most setups... I use a Lee Loader... I have been picking up range brass lately and plan to sell off some of it.
Here's the question, if the case mouth is slightly deformed, does the resizing die reshape those, or should I just discard those cases? Thanks for the help all! |

If it is slightly deformed the resizing and case mouth belling will sort it out nicely.

And if greatly deformed, you can get turning mandrel inserts for Sinclair's mandrel die body that will ease them open over a long taper. I've even used an ice pick to start a mouth back open before. The main thing is to check for splits and deformation afterward. If it's a case you value, annealing the neck afterward may pay off.

Ok, thanks for the help! Didn't know if I should feel bad about slightly deformed mouths in the lots i'm planning on selling.
