Looking to have a custom suppressed barrel made.

Hey folks,
I have a Marlin papoose .22lr takedown rifle. I would like to modify it specifically to take full advantage of the 60 grain Aguila SSS rounds.

What I would like to do is have a custom barrel made. Integrally suppressed 18" with a 1:7 twist rate.

If anyone could point me towards a reputable company that would be willing to do this I would greatly appreciate it.

So far my google searches have been unfruitful.

I reside in Kentucky if that makes a difference. And yes I understand that I will have to get the tax stamp.

Regards, JD

Its going to be hard to find an integrally suppressed barrel.

Considering it being a take-down rifle, why not get a .22 barrel with the desired twist rate and a threaded barrel you can attach a suppressor to. Seems a lot more practical.

I prefer the more compact, and unitized profile of the integral supressors. I have seen several Papoose rifles with a screw on can. In my opinion it looks like crap. Also, this will be a dedicated rig, so an external can would just be an extra piece to keep track of.
On another note, there are no aftermarket fast twist barrels made for the papoose. So at best, I would need a barrel blank + milling work to fit it to the Papoose receiver + threaded for suppressor + crowned + chambered + d&t front sight and still have to buy a can. I want an all in one solution.

One of my customers is a 07/02 in Louisville.
This would be a expensive project but doable.

Thanks for the reference guncrank. I will look them up.
AWC quoted me a price of $1235 for the barrel, so I realize it will be costly. But I would really prefer to work with a local company. Louisville is only 30 min from me!
