How to quote a thread
How do I quote a thread that I want to respond to?

Simply highlight and right click to copy the text that you would like to quote.
Click the icon on the top of the message window that you are typing in when typing a response, fourth from the right in the second row, looks like a cartoon balloon that would contain text in a cartoon. Right click and paste what you had copied in what comes up being certain it is in the center of the two items. Looks like this.... [ quote ] insert your text here [ quote ] Preview post to make sure it works before submitting. Easy peasy. Hope this helps

That feature is disabled at TFL in an attempt to keep people from quoting an entire post rather than just quoting the portion of the post that they're responding to.
