"Red 9" with SU4 under eagle?
Please someone who knows?
marking on my C96 no. 53240 No imperial - just "SU4" under eagle... What kind of marking is this? thanks! |

Found this in a gunboard's thread in regards to the eagle over Su4
"Su4 is not a WaA acceptance. The part was accepted by the Heereszeugamt (HZA or Army Ordnance Depot) at Spandau which was not under the administration of the WaA." As this is a WWII mark on a formerly civilian C96 the lack of imperial stamps is not surprising.

I used to love being able to hit hard at 1000 yards. As I get older I find hitting a mini ram at 200 yards with the 22 oddly more satisfying. |
