Poly-metal coated ammo?
Anyone have experience with this ammo? I haven't seen it before and can find very few reviews.
If you have experience with it, is this better, worse or same as TMJ? Thanks "Flat Point heavy poly-metal coated ultra-hard lead-antimony core projectiles" http://www.fedarm.com/product/300-bl...nded-subsonic/

No direct experience...
But... it is subsonic, so it's basically glorified pistol ammo at that point. Poly coated pistol ammo is common and works fine. Pistol bullet construction techniques like plated and poly coated should work fine for subsonic 300blk, and reduce cost. The real question is whether or not that shape bullet will function in your rifle. |

Appreciate the feedback. I've never seen this stuff and was curious. Just got my .300 BLK and have been using Hornady Black ammo, 208 gr, A-Max. Works great, just a tad on the expensive side.

Its a fancy way of saying we powder coat at the factory. It'll run fine.
