Who has an AR57?

I reallllly want to put one together and have seen mostly positive things about them except the price of ammo.

Would like to hear about some first hand experiences. And if you have a picture you better post it.

Hmmm. Generally the AR indicates Armalite. I have no clue what an AR-57 is.
Never heard of it.Might be why nobody answers.
I have an idea!!
If you can find a picture of one,how about YOU post it.

If there IS an AR-57,I bet you can find a pic. If there is NOT an AR-57.....pretty sure most of us can't help you....except the few who have something to say when they have no clue.

Now,I have shot an AR-7,and the AR-10,and the AR-15,and the AR-30,and the AR-50.
But no AR-57.

I've handled one, but never shot one. They seem to get good reviews and I've been interested, but price and availability of ammo has kept me away from getting into the 5.7. That being said, price has gotten better if you're OK with buying all your 5.7 ammo online.

Learned something new! Interesting.
Hickock 45 did a vid on the Beretta.
Given the design intent/purpose is similar to the M-1 Carbine...for folks with a non-combat job who don't have handgun skills,I can see it.
Interesting magazine! 50 rds,no protrusion.

In the article, the writer seemed not quite happy with the sighting railspace.

Whatever red dot or maybe ACOG went on top,I think his BUIS problem could be solved with 45 deg offset irons.

I'm not in the market, but it is interesting.
