I did about 25 years ago. Sure did mangle coyotes. 100 gr. Sierras, if I remember correctly. No Idea how fast they were going, but they got out there fast.

I am developing some rounds for my 270 with the Speer 90gr Moly Hollow Points and with Speer TNT 90 grainers. You have to keep the TNT below a certain Ft./S to keep them from dissentigrating. I think it is 3600 but I am not sure. The reason is because of the ultra thin jacket on the bullet. I have shot some crows with 110 gr. before, wow a big poof of feathers.

Sierra 90 g. HP
I have shot Sierra 90 g. HPs for a long time through my .270. Great accuracy, as is true for most Sierra bullets, and a giant 10' diameter feather ball when we used to shoot crows in Montana in the 70s. Lately I'm using IMR 4350 to push them at 3500 fps. The Sierra reloading manual is the place to start...
