9mm Berdan

Just processed about 1200 9mm brass in exchange for an old LEE Pro 1000
and found my first ever 9mm Berdan primer in a good condition piece of brass
headstamped

L 9X19 Y 91 seems to be norinco another marked 93 was boxer

does anyone know is norinco brass mixed primers or did they stop around 1992 using berdans.

I'm not sure about Norinco primers. I did about 5-6K of 9mm recently (see linked thread for breakdown by headstamp) and only found a dozen or so "two holers" in all of that. I find them when they won't decap after a few tries and I look into the case. When I do get one I just toss it into the scrap brass bin...
