reloading for accuracy

I have been systematically bringing in my shot groupings over the past while and have a question regarding brass and accuracy. How or what is the best way to sort brass in lots? Once it is all sized and cut to length, cleaned and reprimed would weight be the best way or is chamber length the way and what differences in weight would be called within parameters, or what difference in length is acceptable. For example i just measured some nosler brass that has been shot out of my .243 3 times. I have only neck sized it each time. The weight with primer in is within 1 grain of each other in a 50 lot. Some of the brass is .001-.002 shorter or longer than others when measuring with the hornady bullet comparator tools.

You might try sorting them by the degree of concentricity.

Sort by Mfgr. then sort by weight.

By sorting by weight, the chances are the internal case volume will not varry much from case to case.
