Kick Eez for Savage 11 Short Action
Has anyone installed one of these pads on a Savage 11 short action? What size and how was the fit?

Go to the Kick Eez template page, and find the template that matches your buttstock the closest. You can print the templates as well once you find the closest matches, remove your recoil pad and see which one matches the closest and order it. The other choice is to get a grind to fit pad and have someone install it, if you don't feel up to the task.

I have.
Unfortunately I got the size wrong, will see if I have a box. Good news is that while the fit is cosmetically poor, it works fine. You can sand these down and supposedly they take it fine (benefit to them) I have not tried it. As I had wood stocks the lack of a place for the screw in the back if you miss was not there. Composites are hollow so the screw spacing at least has to be right.
