Scored at the Thrift store
So with the wife this weekend dropping off donations at the Local Salvation Army Thrift store I decided to go inside with her, I usually sit in the truck or go the walgreens and rent a redbox movie. So inside I am looking in the mens pants area, not finding much for my size (tall and fat) but as she is giving me the lets go Whistle ( in stores we have communication by certain Whistles, in this case it was the " I don't know where you are but I am leaving" whistle which is usually mine to her whistle.). So As I hear this I quickly turn to Bee line for the door when I stop and double take at something in the corner of my eye. As I turned I caught a Neon Green Handle atop a black box scattered amongst kids toys, and as I do the the double take I read the words "Zombie Ammunition" on the side. Quickly I snatch the box up, brand spanking new, not a scratch on it. It is made by Plano and is larger then the army 50cal boxs I already have.
The best part and the point of all this story,,, $3.99... The wife said I had a permanent smile on my face the rest of the shopping day. Needless to say, I'll be making the trips inside more often... |
