Need Advise Please
Hey guys now i dont wanna sound paranoid i am just thurogh. So im looking at the lug on my bolt the one next to the extractor and i noticed this about 400 rounds ago. Its either a hairline crack or its just a scratch and i need to chill out. if it was a crack wouldnt it have broken within 400 rounds?
thanks for the help. |

You need to find yourself a repair shop shop that rebuilds engines and grinds crankshafts. They have the equipment that can tell if a crankshaft or engine block is cracked or not. They will be able to check your bolt lugs, its a magnetic x-ray of sort.
good luck

Auto parts stores sell a dye type method to check for cracks.
