Sorry if this is a dumb question, but will a Over and Under shotgun chambered for 3" shells fire 2-3/4" shells as well? Or are only certain shotguns setup to do that? I wasn't sure if the chamber was tapered or there was some ridge there that the shot would hit?
Thanks
Tony

3 inch chambers will fire 2 3/4" shells just fine,Maka. The reverse is NOT true,NEVER use shells LONGER than the designated round.

Most shooting in this country is done with the shorter shells, clays, most birds,etc...
