The smile on your face will give you away every time.
Soft shooting, reliable and accurate. You will love the gun. Pay attention to how much lube you use. They don't need much. The Glock manual should be your guide. They are ugly, but they keep on running. I have four of them.

I have one as my nightstand gun with laser.
12 rounds of .45. If that ain't enough, time to negotiate. |

I picked up a Gen3 Glock 21 myself last night. Love it. Lives either on my hip, or on my nightstand with a Streamlight TLR-1S attached.

I picked up a gen 3 g30 this week and can't wait to shoot it. I've always been a 1911 kinda guy and this trigger will truly take some getting used to.

They aren't the prettiest auto but still one of my favorites. I've also had fun converting my 21 to 10mm if you're into that. Barrel, mags, and a 20lb Wolff spring/rod.

Oh and I also spent a few bucks for my local smith to install a smoother trigger. Around $80 if I recall for a new trigger group and polishing. Quite smooth now, none of the stacking that initially annoyed me.

I've had a G 21 for almost 20 years.
No idea of how many rounds I've put through it. As reliable as a firearm can get. For those that say it's ugly? Hum bug, don't talk about my baby that way. LOL I've also purchased a Glock 30 SF because it takes the G21 mags at the range. It's my daily CCW carry. Just hard to beat a Glock. I carried a 1911 for ten years in the Coast Guard. I'm a solid Glock man now.

I really like my g21. Once learned, it will put rapid fire rounds on target with ease...

I hope you have realy big hands. Even my 21sf was quite large. It's the price you pay for 14 rounds of 45 on board.

I've had major ejection problems with my two gen 4 G21s.
And at the same time no problems whatsoever with my two gen 3 21's. Hope yours is a better copy. I even sent one of the new 21's to Glock and they admitted there was some big problem with it and sent me a new one. Unfortunately.......it had the exact same problem. At this point I didn't feel like sending the other one back. Just decided to live with the brass in face and weak ejections. It is a problem though when running to the right while shooting. Again, I hop you will have better luck with yours. |

I bought a 21SF a while back and it was ejecting straight into my forehead. I sent it back to Glock (turnaround was very quick) and they sent me a whole new gun. Now it ejects just past my right eye so eye protection is a must (as always when shooting). This is my second 21 and really like them.

Really like my 21sf, surprised at the accuracy. I thought that the grease put on slide and rails were to help them break in together and not to clean until a few hundred rounds. At least that was my impression. Hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

I have been too many guns to count.
I now carry, use and shoot glock 45's. No worries about what to do with gun, other than clean it and shoot. Have fun and Merry Christmas.

After running a few boxes of ammo thru my 21 i'm very surprised how smooth it is, when i take my time its very accurate and when i cut loose i stay in the middle of the target. what a fun big gun it is to shoot. I see me getting very very good with this gun..hope so cause it sure is nice.

FWIW I have 3.5lb disconnectors installed before I take a new Glock out the gunshop door. It's enough of a difference to me to improve my shooting abilities.

I also just joined the 45 Glock club with a 21SF I put on lay a way, it was used (looked almost brand new) and is a 3rd gen and has 3 13 round mags/box. It will get the 3.5 disconnector and a plug in the bottom and I will be a happy camper.
