magnum primers

i just noticed i bought magnum primers to reload 45acp. will this be a problem?

This probably belongs in the reloading forum, but I would work up my load again from scratch to be safe

I have some Winchester pistol primers that say on the side of the box they are good for regular OR magnum use.

Load a few up and drop the charge a little and try them. If you don't experience hard extraction or bulged primers, I would say you are good to go.

I've used them several times with no problems. If I remember right the difference was 20-25 fps. Just drop the load a coulple tenths and you shouldn't notice a difference.
