Uberti parts for original smith and Wesson?
Hello guys I just have a quick question, perhaps a long shot but does anyone here have any knowledge on whether Uberti parts will work as a replacement on a original s&w model 3, I know some people will not like the idea or screwing with a old gun like this but in the case or this revolver it’s in hard shape anyway and I want to make it look and function like new.
Thanks for any help in advance! Last edited by TheCanuckCowboy; December 16, 2019 at 07:31 PM. |

No personal knowledge but highly unlikely. They won't be drop in parts if they can be made to work at all.

I would suspect they would require fitting.

If you can find a copy of, Smith and Wesson Sixguns of the Old West. By David R. Chicoine.
It's got a section about interchangeability of parts between reproduction and original guns. |
