Uberti parts for original smith and Wesson?

Hello guys I just have a quick question, perhaps a long shot but does anyone here have any knowledge on whether Uberti parts will work as a replacement on a original s&w model 3, I know some people will not like the idea or screwing with a old gun like this but in the case or this revolver it’s in hard shape anyway and I want to make it look and function like new.
Thanks for any help in advance!

No personal knowledge but highly unlikely. They won't be drop in parts if they can be made to work at all.

I would suspect they would require fitting.

If you can find a copy of, Smith and Wesson Sixguns of the Old West. By David R. Chicoine.
It's got a section about interchangeability of parts between reproduction and original guns.
