sightmark reflex sight any good?
Ok, so I picked up a ruger 22/45 recently and it has the mount for an optic and was thinking of getting a reflex sight. I already have regular red dots but dont feel like hanging something that large on the 22/45 with a 4" barrel.
I have found the sightmark and was thinking of getting it (unless someone has a burris for really cheap). any input would be helpful. Here is the sightmark mini reflex sight i am looking at. and was also looking at their slightly larger (and cheaper) model that is a 1x45.

I am thinking of one for my NEOS,,,
But I am completely ignorant about reflex sights,,,
I'll also anxiously await your range report. Aarond

I have the Sightmark Sure Shot on my Buckmark pistol, and I love it. Holds zero and allows me a degree of accuracy I would never have with the stock sights. Best $50 I've spent on a gun.

I bought the 50 dollar one and held zero perfect on my ak 47 .... I put about 200 rounds thru it... Then I forgot to turn it off and ran the battery down... I would definitely buy another one..

I have several of the $39.00-$50.00 reflex sights on my guns for rabbit hunting. My AR, CX4, HiPoint carbine and a 10/22 all wear one. Other than replacing batteries, I've never had a problem will them. I'd use it it on my Beretta U22, but I don't have a holster for it. With my old eyes I can pick up the target more quickly than with the iron sights.
