Spanish Mauser
Anyone know where i can get one of these in operable condition? Does not need to be perfect, just safe and fun to shoot. I have only found one site that has them and both they have are in pretty bad shape. I have a FTF for one possibly, but it is missing some parts.
Samco has some on backorder. Can't get through on the phone to get info... Last edited by johnwilliamson062; February 3, 2009 at 11:44 AM. |

Why would you want one? They're the worst Mauser you can get. I've got a Bubba'd one I use for a truck gun but it was a gimme is the only reason I have it.

Cheap rifle that shoots 308 and I don't need to worry about banging up. I didn't say this will be the only Mauser I own...
Are you really trying to talk me out of buying a Mauser? Last edited by johnwilliamson062; February 3, 2009 at 02:46 PM. |

Unless you can find a 1916 that's been arsenal rechambered to .308 you'll have to have one rechambered. Yeah they do make good knock around guns.

There must be some floating around, I have one in 308 and the wood is almost like unissued. The bore is super clean too.I saw them on Gunbroker from time to time.
