Pulsar Termion XP50 640 vs ATN Thor 4 640

I didn't see a Thermal category so I added this thread under "general."

Looks like I will be buying one of these 640 Thermal scopes. ATN has more bells and whistles than Pulsar, but customers seem to complain about their service. I don't want to "PISS AWAY 5 GRAND" on a paper weight. I don't need all the fancy recording options, but good battery life or auxiliary power packs would be great.

The rest of the scopes on the market are 3-5 grand more for similar sensors. I don't want to waste any more $$$ than need be.

Side by side, which of these provides the best picture and best distance that I can actually identify coyotes and hit them? If I can see and put x-hairs on target to 400 yds, that would be great. Thx
