Michael Taylor of Cleveland Ohio Stole from me and frequents this board
This guy stole money from myself and 2 others.
He had items posted in the for sale area of thehighroad.org I have reason to believe he has moved to this board now Michael Taylor This guy had items posted in the handgun section. I sent him money for a Colt Agent. He first claimed he sent the handgun on the 10th of July. After not recieving it I repeatedly asked for tracking info. He then tells a story about impounded firearms and shiping mishaps. End result is he will refund money. No money ever recieved. He claims he has supporting documents for all his excuses but is unwilling to provide them. I have filed a complaint locally and am in the process of filing one in Ohio. Do not send this guy money. I have lost my $370 but dont want anyone else to get ripped off. There are 2 other members here that were taken by the same guy and I hope to see them post as well. Do you have names, tech? Technically speaking, if you dealt with this individual over at THR and you're coming over here to state your complaint, it's against TFL's rules. If this person did you wrong under a business license, then your thread is valid.

UPDATE to the fraud!
WARNING!!! "UpandAtIt" is a second username of a known FRAUD! He tried to defraud me out of $225. He's been banned from every major online firearm auction site. Please if anyone has any other information on him or his alias's please come forward. We need to bring this guy down!
He frequents gun shows in the Cleveland area, and will let you know his "Disabled Vet" status every chance he gets. Here's a picture of the man in question. http://thefiringline.com/forums/show...55#post4382055 Username Aliases: UpandAtIt ImJustTired 41022collector Emails: [email protected] [email protected] Brothers Username: GringoGrande (Steve) [email protected] He also sells hiking sticks in the Cleveland area. Here's his pitch he uses in selling his hiking sticks. Typical fraud card using his "Disabled Vet" to warm you up. 51 year old US Navy Disabled Vet due to blindness in Cleveland Ohio (westside). I hand make each and every Hiking Stick, hand cut and hand dye the leather lace wrist straps and hand grips, hand mix the finish. I have made Hiking Sticks since 1988 for friends, family and to sell at open air market shows like Yankee Pedler and "The Mess" in Berea Ohio. I prefer to sell only to USA Residents due to ease of shipping as I cannot fill out international forms due to not being able to see them. All sticks are shipped via US Postal Priority Mail with delivery confirmations. Last edited by Shane Tuttle; January 4, 2011 at 09:50 PM. |

His brother is a means of contact. His brother is his business partner. For all I know his brother is just another alias. Why do you shelter frauds?

And why do you even suggest that we are sheltering frauds?
Do you have any knowledge of any actions that have been taken by the TFL Staff? A logical question was asked about someone who is not a member here and hasn't been involved in any transaction that we know of. |

I actually dealt with this gun on gunbroker and over on THR.
He bought a H&R 922 from me on GB (his payment was very slow and his C&R ffl was unreadable and he gave me flak when I required he send me one that I could read) then about a month later tried to flip it for way more than what he purchased it from (he didn't have many takers). I offered to buy it back for what he paid (including shipping) and he flipped on me and tired to claim a bunch of falsities about me and the gun. Needless to say I will not do business with him in the future. to the OP... I can forward you his C&R number and feel free to contact the BATF about this (since he is a C&R ffl holder I am sure the BATF would be happy to hear your information). as a side note, he is no longer a registered member over on GB (he got kicked off).

Matt Miller,
This guy stole from me as well, worse it was a gift for my 8 year old daughter I sent him a check for a Crossman M1 BB gun for my daughter for Christmas. I got all kinds of excuses during December and Jan and never did recieve the BB gun for her for Christmas. Last edited by Shane Tuttle; February 14, 2011 at 07:42 PM. |
