IWB Holster for K-frame Service Revolver ?
Hi guys. I have an older S&W 64 with 4" bull barrel. I really like this gun. I find it easy to shoot well. I would appreciate your suggestions on the most comfortable IWB holster that youve found for such a gun. I've actually carried N frames IWB, so thats not a problem. The K frame should even be easier. Thanks.

I have a few from the Holster store. A clip on, and one with belt snaps.
And Simply Rugged get mentioned a lot to. |

I use a Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake with inside out straps.
This is a convertable holster that can be worn IWB or OWB. Conceals a 4" K frame very well. With a good beltt, it Pulls the butt of the gun up nice and tight to the body. Price is very reasonable, and Rob is a great guy to do business with. I have six of his holsters currently. Highly recomnend them. |

custom made IWB rigs...
Due to the bull barrel or modifications, you may have trouble finding a decent IWB holster. Most holster & gear makers use rubber firearm models to design new holsters. Minor changes or designs occur often. John Bianchi of Bianchi Intl wrote about that industry fact often.
For top IWB revolver rigs, see; www.blade-tech.com www.mitchrosen.com www.usgalco.com www.miltsparks.com www.safariland.com www.tedblockerholsters.com www.kirkpatrickleather.com www.donhume.com . Contact the holster maker first. Shop times or custom work may cause delays. CF |

My favorite so far is the horse hide Lobo Gunleather IWB holster. Next would be the FIST #20. I tried the Sourdough Pancake but found the gun road much, much higher than I'm accustomed to.

I've only used an old Milt Sparks Summer Special for this revolver.
