Used Scope

I just picked up a used scope, no box no directions. How would I go about putting it back to zero, factory settings? Any ideas? It is a Bushnell 45 2.5x10.

Turn the turret settings all the way IN. Turn them all the way OUT, counting clicks. Back off 1/2 the number of clicks, you are optically centered.
There are a lot of clicks keep count carefully!

Why do you want factory settings?
Shoot it and zero at the range.

They are not really factory settings but physical settings applicable to all scopes. There are applications when you want to start out and try to maintain this center settings. Most of the time, you still have enough travel to be able to scope it in. Redicles really don't move that much. I have seen some scopes run out of range on the dials and that is usually indicative of an external problem. ..
