Dumb Mossy Question

Dumb mossy question, i just cant remember...Do you have to actuate the slide release after you have fired a shot or are you able to just keep shucking the slide?

Sorry, I'm an 870 guy

Thanks, Hellbent

With all of the pump shotguns I am familiar with, you are able to eject a fired shell without hitting the slide release.

Just like the 870, pull the trigger, the release only has to be used if you have not pulled the trigger after the hammer has been cocked by cycling the action.

Thanks guys! I know that wasn't the brightest question but I haven't fired a mossy in nearly six years.
