Converting Glock 22 to 9mm reliability

I am interested in converting a Glock 22 to 9mm. I've done some research and found that it's a fairly common conversion using the Lone Wolf barrels. The consensus seems to be that it works pretty well, but you get the occasional FTE because the ejector is different. Can the G17 trigger housing / ejector be fitted into the G22 for improve reliability? It's my understanding the the Lone Wolf barrel will be slightly off-center to account for the smaller round. Will this affect the G17 ejector from working correctly?

My wife's G23 works just fine with a Lone Wolfe 9mm barrel installed. Hand loads, factory stuff, it makes not matter. BTW, the 9mm barrel is every bit as accurate as the .40 S&W. HTH's Rod

Jflies, if you are just looking to shoot 9mm out of your 40 Glock you can do a simple conversion barrel change and have fun. If you are wanting to change it over to a 9mm and have the same reliability as if it were made to be a 9mm than you need to buy 9mm mags and replace the 40 extractor with a 9mm extractor.

Lone Wolf and Storm Lake make great conversion barrels.

I had a Lone Wolf 40-9 in my 31 (357SIG), and with 17 mags, it ran fine. Never had any issue with extraction/ejection.

If youre going to do it, just get the barrel first and see how it goes. I dont think youll see any trouble. If it works, the gun is still instantly convertible.

If you need 9mm mags, Wideners has the Korean Glock 17 mags for $8. They work great and are a great deal.

Is the conversion barrel for the range or carry purpose? I never carry with my .357sig conversion. I keep it Glock stock for CCW.

My G35 with a LW 40-9 barrel works just fine. I do use 9mm mags as the 40 mags feed lips are further apart

Other then the barrel and mags the gun is all G35
