Plates to mount scopes O-rings to Win-100

Hope this is the right place to ask this question...just bought a scope for my old Winchester 100. Bought on-line and got the 1" O-ring clamps for the scope, but they did not have the base plates to mount on the factory drilled holes of my model so I got the closest plates that they had thinking I could simply redrill the holes in the plates if they did not fit. (No need to mention I'am a newbie at this is there!) Anyway the scope is popping a wheelie. One base plate is thicker than the other. (Did not have to tell this whole story either, but I felt so stupid I felt I should post it so you all could laugh at me ) Is there a site that has plates for old guns, or a site that might have plates for my old Win?

Hi Fritzers,

This forum is more of a place for technical questions about The Firing Line or for help with your computer as it relates to TFL.

I'll move this thread to the proper forum. Gear and Accessories. Look for it there.
