Gun and Ammo Inventory Program
Looking at getting some piece of software to keep track of my growing firearms collection and my growing ammo supply.
I found this program today by doing a google search. https://www.armorybook.com I tried the demo and it seems professionally but together. It has everything I was looking for. But it seems like the data is stored using some sort of cloud storage. I am not sure if I want my firearms serial numbers stored in the cloud some where. All suggestion and comments are welcome. I will be inventorying NFA Firearms and non NFA Firearms plus lots of ammo. |

I use a simple MS Excel spreadsheet. One tab each for firearms and load data.

+1 on the Excel spreadsheet. Everytime I've used "sole-purpose" inventory programs I've always ended up back on Excel; because of its ease of making it whatever I want it to be and for portability to other platforms if for no other reason.
For guns I use an encrypted spreadsheet which hyperlinks to pictures of the guns, electronic manuals, and receipts and anything else I want to add. It also contains pages that add up the values, and keeps track of items I've sold |
