Load data .223 75 grn scirocco 2
I may have posted this originally in the incorrect forum. I just found this one. As mentioned, looking for load data for this bullet using RE15 powder. Needs to be magazine length as these cartridges will be used in the field, not on a bench. Searching has come up with notta. Considering just starting at around 23.5 to 24 grains and trying that for accuracy. Thought? Data?
Thanks in advance, Bryan D. |

24 grains should be max with LC brass. Can't recall of the top of my head what the seating depth is for AR magazines but you could just seat long and test fit in you mag untill you have the right length.

Swift actually gave me a phone call. I was shocked, and wanted to point out the great customer service.
Anyhow, with RE15 there is a very narrow range because of the bullet structure. Max- 21.8 grains at 2652 fps Min- 20.2 grains at 2444 fps The bullet will easily seat at magazine depth with that amount of powder. Hopefully this data will find its way to other people needing this load. |
