Barska scopes
I am cheap. Not just a little, but wery cheap.
That is why i am trying to get a good as possible scope for under 300$ for my Sauer 6.5x55. The amount of scopes under that price is supricingly high! I'ts basicly a jungle of tempting offers. My favourite pick is right now is Barska but I am not convinced. Because they are almost too cheap! Look at this: http://www.opticsplanet.net/barska-8...fle-scope.html. The only bad thing i have heard about them is poor performance in low light. Something I can live with. Other things: They are heavy, big and suprisingly solid according to other forum threads I've read. Is it anyone here that has any experience with Barska? Maybe someone can recommend better scopes at the same price class? I've also looked at ATN scopes. Same site as listed above. They any good? Can I drop the bullet drop comp.? Replies are always appreciated Tommy

simmons 44 mag scopes are good/cheap and way better then the BAARF ska's .. check natchez for them. good scopes. have a few. Noting like my zeiss or nikon tactical, but comparable to burris or bushnell elites for half the price.

Barska sounds Russian, but are they as good as these genuine Russian optics?

http://www.kalinkaoptics.com/detail.aspx?ID=477 "used by russian armed forces" Good enough for them, good enough for me! Barska is chinese, I was not going to purchase that if I did'nt hear something really convincing about them. Their prices was just so tempting! Thanks for replies, and THANKS for the kalinka website!

I had a Barfska and it was a POS. I sent it back and got a Bushnell.
Bushnell and Tasco are ok for the bucks. George
