How do you plug the BBL when parking?

Empty case with a spent primer in the chamber and tap a calibre suitable cast bullet into the muzzle just enough for it to stay put.

For bluing or Parkerizing, wood plugs work better than a lead plug, and can be made any convenient length so they can be used to hang a barrel by in a tank, and used as handles when removing the barrel.
