LCP half cock position

The Ruger LCP2 is actually only half cocked when the slide is engaged to chamber a round.
I never carry any fire arm with a round in the chamber UNLESS the gun has a manual safety which I always have engaged. I don't go infor the BS that manual safeties can be a dangerous delay when the gun is actually needed.
The US military understands safety with firearms n the Beretta M9 is one of the safest hand guns on the planet ( and my home protection preference.

The handguns I carry for CC self defense....I practice with so much ...muscle memory every time I draw disengaging the safety is automatic and simultaneous with removing from. Holster.
