you ca always manually type it too.
[quote...] before the text and [/quote...] after the text. remove the ... I just put them there so I didn't start a quote.

How do you quote? Easily!
See the small yellow box - that is DiscoRacing's button - that looks like a cartoon voice bubble? Click on it and the quote is set for typing.

Is this how you do it.

I have wondered this my self. Is the only way to to it by clicking the yellow wrap quote button, then copy and pasting the text you want in the appropriate reply?

Thanks

Yes. Seems there was abuse of the quote button by people quoting whole posts of pictures or big posts with a stupid "+1" after it or "That's really neat". The admins pulled it to curtail such nonsense. I understand but it makes it a PITA to quote, which is what they wanted. I often don't respond simply because the admin made it such a burden to quote a post, I'd rather skip over it than waste my time.

And if you put (in brackets, of course) quote=xxxx with xxxx being the user's name you are quoting it will include that information as well.

You can even get fancy with it and add the post-number after the username with a semi-colon to get a link back to the original post, like so:
