Well, I took a long lunch and got the Olympic Arms AR-15 type rifle almsot sighted in. need to find an A2 site tool, and drop the point of aim a click or 2.
will group good though. for got my spotting scope and or binoculars, so I just emptied mags until the cease fire. emptied mags into 5" groups at 50 yrds. then I shot the BM just so it wouldn't feel left out ------------------ It ain't mah fault. did I do dat? |

Where is this club at?
What kind of membership requirements do they have? What about range facilities and staffing? Courses offered? Tournament? ------------------ "This year will go down in history. Took two ladies out on Saturday to Sunnyvale. They both had fun with my AR's. One of them was wearing a tanktop and had a little bruise on her shoulder.
Neither had shot a gun before in their lifes, so they were aprehensive about that first shot. But after the first shot, they were fine. They shot pretty well, they had some pretty good groups going on. On sunday, I had lunch with the girls, and one of them asked me, "How much does an AR go for" I told her had and she was like "I can't afford, I wanted on too." Oh well, if I didn't totally convert them to gun people, at least they aren't anti. ------------------ It ain't mah fault. did I do dat? |

chink - On a business trip to Santa Clara, a friend took me to shoot a little trap at Sunnyvale R&G Club as a guest. Very nice setup. The rifle range was under construction at the time, but it looked like it was going to be first class. The folks there were, without exception, a very friendly and helpful group. To show how friendly, one gentleman loaned me his Perazzi for the shooting!

how far is it from San Jose and what are the directions? I'm heading out their next week hopefully and would like to take my sister and her son's shooting. They have never fired a weapon before and are real intersted.
Woops silly me, went and followed the link above. Will be trying to take little sis and her son's there. They live just a few miles away it looks like. [This message has been edited by Joey (edited August 30, 1999).] |
