Need help dating guns

I recently inherited 3 guns can any one help whith when they were made and what they are worth........
H+R 16 ga. Serial #4516 single barrel 60%
Winchester Model 94 30-30 #2236848 90%
Colt Match Target .22LR #51098-S 95%

H&R Made many sngl bbl shotguns. Can you provide a little more infor.
Exposed hammer?
Side lever opener?
Rear tang lever?
Auto extractor?
What's the bbl length?
Please provide any markings, names etc., on the gun.

The Winchester is pretty much the same; Could you provide the information inscribed on the rifle.
Is the barrel;
Octogon?
Length?
Large opening lever?
Hammer shoe, (extended to one side or the other)?
Color or type wood on the stock?b
does it have an medallions on it?

COLT MATCH TARGET:
There are several issues of this pistol.

COLT Woodsman Trget Model Automatic:

First Issue.
Cal. .22 LR (Reg. Velocity) 10 shot magazine 6 1/2" bbl, 10 1/2" overall. Adjustable sights, blued finish. Checkered walnut stocks. Made from 1915-1932.. NOTE; The mainspring housing of this model is not srong enough to permit safe use of high speed ammo. Change to a new hear-treatment mainspring housing was made at pistol #83,790. Many of the old models were converted by installation of new husings. The new housing may be distinguished from the old bythecheckering in the curbe under the breech. New housing is grooved straight across, while the old bears a diagonally checkered oval.

COLT MATCH TARGET MODEL SECOND ISSUE:
Same basic design as the Woodsman Target. Regular or high speed ammo. 10 shot mag. 6" flat heavy bbl. 10 1/2" overall, click adjustable sights ranp forn sight. Blued finish, Checkered plastic or walnut stocks. Made fro m1948 to 1976

Tallison: From the serial number, your Colt Match Target left the factory sometime in 1949. This would place it as a Second Model Match Target.

BTW: Harley, R.L. Wilson shows that there were three models of the Match Target Woodsman. The Match Target was not the same as the Target Woodsman. Ordinary Woodsman pistols with 6" to 6.5" barrels were titled the Target Model, while those with 4.5" barrels were known as the Sport Model. The Match Target possessed a heavier barrel, enhanced sights, and other features depending on vintage.

The First Model Match Target pistols (aka: Bullseye Model) used the serial prefix 'MT'. Production ran from 1938 to 1944 with production of around 15,100 pistols. The Second and Third Models of the Match Target shared serial numbers with the post-WW2 Sport and Target Woodsman pistols. The Second Model Match Target ceased production around 1955 and serial# 147138-S. The Third Model Match Target started with serial# 160001-S. Total production of the Second and Third Models is believed to exceed 100,000

This is great......

The H&R has no model # on the thop of the 28" barrel it says 16 Gauge CHOKE it has a rear tang lever and no extracter. The serial # is on the gun three time; inside the trigger guard on the top, on the barrel, and on the bottom of the gun. Harrington and Richardson Worchester, Massachusetts on the side with some numbers almost unreadable 426927100 (I think}, exposed Hammer, overall lengthis 43" with Black hard rubber? butt plate with round H&R logo

The Winchester has a round 20" barrel, standard opening lever, plain walnut stock,no hammer shoe, plain checkered metal but plate

The colt barrel is 6" overall length is 10"

The H&R is a 10% gun
The Winchester is 85% gun
The Colt is a 95% gun

Values?

TALLISON:
H&R manufactured a series of single barrel, break-open shotguns between 1908 and 1942. They were chambered for various gauges and had various barrel lengths and chokes. There is an assumption that your shotgun is of a vintage prior to 1942 due to not having the auto ejector/extractor.

In 1986, all operations were discontinued by the original H&R company. In 1992, New England Firearms, of Gardner, Mass., began manufacturing new H&R models.

Value on your shotgun, is around $15.00-$20.00. not much of a collector, but I'll bet it would look neat over a mantel.

Will look for the Winchester.

Your model (near as I can figure it)of the 94 Winchester is the standard rifle. It was produced in 30-30, 32 Win Spl, (new in 1992) 7-30 Waters, (New in 1989) or 44 mag (Mfg'd 1984-85 only), 6 or 7 round (24" bbl only) tube mag, 20 or 24" (Mfg'd 1987-88 only)round bbl, open shights, straight walnut stock, barrel band on forearm, Mfg'd 1964 to date. Angled ejection standard in 1982.

Tallison,
I believe your Model 94 was manufactured in 1956, so it may be worth an extra $100 or so over the post '64 values. If it has a saddle ring (rare) then it's worth a lot more.
