full flap holster for G17 in Europe
Hey there, finally I found a full flap holster that I reckon would fit my G17.
https://acecase.com/flap-holster.html Problem is shipping would be about thrice the price of the actual product which seems a little bit too much even though I'd do like having the piece. Any ideas whether there might be a European vendor offering a comparable product? It might sound odd, but actually I don't know what the exact German term for "full flap holster" is, neither could I find a proper translation. Maybe somebody can help me out with that, any other European language might be helpful as well... Its just that any web search in English does only return hits in the U.S. which come with no shipping at all to the EU or the horrendous fees mentioned above.

Your in Austria, and the Glock is an Austrian gun... surely there are plenty of holster options there? Go to a gun shop and ask, pretty much all of the younger generation speak English very well. Bring some pictures if you need help getting past the language barrier, good luck.

Amazon says they're starting a European site in June. Dunno if that'll help though.
It's highly unlikely anybody here would know anything about European holster makers. A flap holster has no demand for any of the shooting games. So there's no market for 'em here. Kind of suspect the shipping would be the least issue with sending a holster to Europe too. In any case, any holster that will take a BHP, should also take any Glock. The CF Inglis holster would do. First Pattern Web Holster for Inglis Pistol near the bottom is a picture. http://www.canadiansoldiers.com/weapons/pistols.htm

These folks offer 2 different models: https://www.americasgunstore.com/hol...-4-5-holsters/
You might shoot them an email and see if they ship to any outlets in your area.

If you look around over there you may be able to find a US military surplus M12 nylon holster.
This was made for the M9 Beretta pistol. It was designed by Bianchi and made by other contractors. Bianchi makes a civilian version as the UM-84. It can be used as a right or left hand, cross-draw, shoulder holster, low ride thigh holster, or you can remove the flap and use as an open top holster. http://www.safariland.com/products/h...bykw17a6w5n2im Bianchi makes an upgraded version as the UM-92. To find the military surplus or commercial models, you might check ebay. |

It wouldn't be hard to make a leather one.
