Ruger Vaquero weight?

Ruger has a 3.75" 357 Vaquero, model #5126. Ruger, and Gallery of Guns, show a weight of 35 oz.
That is a lot lighter than they show for the longer barrels. Do they just have the weight listed wrong, or is there something else going on with that model?

I doubt very much thats right, I'd bet at least 40 oz. The .357 Vaq's are always heavier than the .45 Colt or .45 ACP models, more metal in the cylinder and barrel from the smaller holes bored out.

Ruger's site lists Model 5108, 5 1/2" bqrrel, .357 mag. as 44 oz.; Model 5109, 4 5/8" bbl. as 43 oz.

The same guns in .45 Colt as 42 oz. an 40 oz.

GoG just has it listed correctly

Ruger's site lists the Model 5126 (.357 w/3.75" barrel) at 35 ounces:

Thanks, Schlitz. I'm gonna figure the 357 has to weigh more than the 45.

A 3.75", .357 Vaquero is a Talo Distributors exclusive. Ruger says it weighs 37 ounces.
A 4.62" Vaquero weighs 43 ounces. The extra 1" apparently weighs 1.25 ounces.
Isn't something to fret over though.

43 - 37 = 1.25 ?
