the graphite does three things it lubes, seals and acts as an anti static agent. Leave it in.

i graphite mine with powder on a fluffy rag till its black , then on some course powders i have a peice of cardboard cut to fit the hopper & lay a weight on that, actually i glued the big nut to the cardboard so it`ll stay centered!!!!

I have used H110, W231, Power Pistol, and H-Varget in the Lee Auto-Disk on the Pro 1000.

I have the double disk setup, but only use the double disk for small rifle.

I just experimented with the amounts the single disks provide for pistol.

H110 was my first powder to try in the measure. It worked better after a while. I read that the setup works better over time, as powder residue has built up. H110 will work in your 357 Magnum for max loads or close to max loads. W231 and Power Pistol will work with reduced loads in 357 Mag.

Measures have been very consistent and speed is really nice for the large batches. E.g. I get 4.6gr consistently with W231 powder.

I read that Red Dot doesn't work well in powder measures.
