Civil War Billinghurst-Requal Gun

One yank of the cord (or pull of the lever?) would cause all barrels to discharge. As a breechloader, you opened the action, inserted the cartridge loaded strip into the barrels (think of it as a Bianchi Speed Strip made of steel) and cap it.

Would it or a modern reproduction of it per se be considered a machine gun?

Each barrel only fires one shot per trigger pull, I don't believe it would qualify for an NFA ruling .

Considering it's a black powder gun, could one make a replica? Would it be legal?

Someone should make a half scale in .36 cal, or even a full size!

Get on it Pietta LOLOLOL!!!

They do not fire fixed ammunition and are not NFA "firearms."
