ATF eForms update thread

I was hoping to start a thread where people could post updates to the ATF eForms system and forms in general.

Last I heard, form 1's were back online and the ATF has been reducing a ton of paper backlog, as well as hiring more staff to process future forms faster.

Currently, they are processing more forms than they are taking in, so its possible they days of waiting for ATF approval will soon be over! Once they clear the backlog, if they are able to continue processing as fast as they receive, it should only take about a week to get a tax stamp approved.

Of course, this may be a temporary speed up, but I'm going to remain optimistic!

I only really care about Form 4s, so I'm not celebrating yet.

Form 2's are back on line, but Form 4's are not.

The last batch of Form 4's I was able to submit in late March have all returned this week.

Efile works for form 1's. I did 2 more last week

Form 1s came back to Efile at the end of June. I want to say around the 20th, but I do not remember for sure.

2 Form 1's Efiled on 6/27.
2 form 1's returned approved on 8/1.

38DAYS and approved. Im liking the new system. Hope form 4's come back soon

Received an email from them today. Form 5's are going back online on 08/27 and Form 9's are going back online on 09/02.

Form 1 submitted 7/17 and approved 8/13. That's only 27 days!
