CMP membership
How do you get membership without joining a club? My closest CMP approved club open to all costs $100/year with a $300 initiation fee! Everything else is is high school ROTC programs. I'm 60, a bit old for high school.

Garand Collectors Association
The GCA is CMP approved and 25 bucks a year.
They also notify CMP that you are a member. You also get 4 interesting issues of their magazine. The RWVA-Revolutionary War Veterans Association is 20 bucks or 80 for 5 years. Last edited by bcarver; February 23, 2009 at 03:46 PM. |

Thanks, that's a lot better as long as you don't have to own a Garand.

garand ownership
No you don't have to be a garand owner.
And owning a Garand is not for everybody. I don't reccomend it for women, children or weak hearted people. and they are seriously addictive. As for the california club, CMP has a list you can check. |

Okay, so wait - I can join the Texas Rifle Association for 25 bucks a year, and then order rifles through the CMP website without an FFL?
