I presume that you mean a Combat Commander.

The Lightweight Commander was introduced in 1949, and the all steel Combat Commander came a long a few years later. I believe it was introduced in 1952 or '53. They were still in the last Colt Catalog.

Since I don't buy semi-autos, I don't pay much attention to their price range.

Good Luck,
Doc Hudson

What the heck is that hybrid?

Is it an officers' ACP slide and barrel on a Lightweight Commander frame?

Or is it a Commander slide and barrel on an Officers'ACP frame?

Gunnuts, the Colt Concealed Carry Officer was only made in 1998. Blue Book lists it at $650 in 100% condition. Hope this helps!
