Wooden Stock for Moss 500/ Mav. 88

Hello,

I have a Mossberg Maverick 88 and I am getting tired of the synthetic look. I know I have seen the Mossberg 500 come with the wooden stock and forearm but I cannot find just the stock and forearm anywhere online. Does anyone has any info on where I can find the wooden stock and forearm for my Mav. 88?

Thanks!

Vic Havlin is your go to guy for that stuff. He buys new and take off stocks and sells them at great prices! Fore stock inside length is crucial so read up on it and measure yours.

Ebay usually has quite a few Mossberg stock sets also. Something to keep in mind, I have seen Maverick 88s that have the action bars attached directly to the synthetic forearm, instead of attached to the steel forearm tube like a Mossberg 500. They may all be like that, I dont know. If yours is like this, you will need the whole forend assembly off of a 500, instead of just the wood.

They are not all integral.
If it has a spanner nut on the front of the forestock, it will come apart, then you can measure your action tube as shown at Havlin site.
