Considering what a potential buyer would be getting for that $750, I'll toss it in a lake before I'll give it away.
Looks new, dual-caliber, Grayguns action job, three mags (two in wrapper), unused leather. And it's ALL pre-MIM. It's as low as it's gonna go. I was only mentioning it here as a response to the pricing being questioned by the original poster. Denis Last edited by DPris; June 14, 2017 at 05:02 PM. |

I appreciate you giving us the full details of what the pistol comes with a second time. Is this like in a movie when an actor takes a long swig of their Coke and holds it up to the screen and comments how refreshing it was?

Glad you do.
Pat seemed to have missed it in his quote, so thought I'd emphasize. I do exist to make you happy. Denis |

I live about five miles from the south end of the Great Salt Lake.
That'd be the most convenient one. Denis |

Self promotion is never a bad thing.
The used market is horrible right now. I had a few things on consignment and I just gave up. I don't need them but I can't just "give them away" as far as I'm concerned.

A Sig P229R should cost you $500 after transfer =/- $20 depending on shipping and transfer costs. You can get it with or without a rail. https://www.gunsmidwest.com/798681306459-1 https://www.gunsmidwest.com/798681306411-104563 They even throw in a barrel for $140. So your looking at $500 Gun + $150 Barrel + $40 Mags =$690 So $700 because you can hold it in your hand seems reasonable. You are still solid at $750 depending on who made the conversion barrel. If it is Barsto you are ahead if its Sig you are square. If it is no name you are behind.

Thanks for the nudge in this thread.
Just back from the gunsmith where I traded that 229 package for Ruger & Colt DA revolver parts. Hammer & machined trigger & other parts for GPs, parts for my old Security-Six, parts for I &D frame V-Spring Colts. Needed to get that SIG off the books. Quite happy with the swap for parts I couldn't get anywhere else. Much appreciate the help! Denis |
