My two SKS Carbines

Both have Tapco 20rd mags. Original mags are in storage. Both rifles are matching numbers.

From left to right

Chinese 1968 Factory 26 Type 56 Rifle
Soviet 1953 Tula SKS given to East Germany

They work well. I don't swap them out like removable mags. I simply load them with two stripper clips. Nice having 20rds on tap.

This might prove to be some interesting reading for you concerning your SKS rifles.

If your guns are pre-ban you don't need to worry about 922R.

I like them both but the dark one I really like.
Did you get the stock like that or did you do something to it to get those light lines.

The stock is factory... did nothing to it. What you see is simply the wood grain.

That is a very nice stock on the Russian SKS. I have two of them, and neither are that nice.
