Are you sizing with the expander ball? if so this is normal. Your Savage the chamber is tighter then the average . your neck isn't expanding as much, imperial wax on the inside of the neck lightly with a Q- tip will help. You have a benchrest chamber. See you Sunday.

Look at picking up one of these. I find the carbide drags significantly less than steel.

Try a Q-tip and powdered graphite in an alcohol suspension wiped around the inside of each neck.
