A really, really clean defense-of-others case.
This was a very legally clean case that was solveable without shooting:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmhOUw82WXQ If the larger gent had shot, he'd still be legally OK. This was in South Carolina. Just an awesome dude - kept his head, kept his temper, solved it with a drawn .40S&W. Even his muzzle direction and finger-off-trigger discipline in the interview was good. Couldn't tell for sure but I think he's got an IWB rig on - he puts it too far down the pants for "Mexican carry"?

Sounds like he handled the situation well.
I wish he had refrained from pulling out his CCW to show the reporter.

I think it went OK, in this context.

Jim - Thaks for posting this. IMHO, the "real" story is that no one was badly hurt (or worse) when the potential for a tragedy was clear -- thanks to a gentlemen how used his brains and his courage.

I'm just glad to see a decent media report of something like this.

Main concern was the children living & playing in the residential area. BG and girlfriend just moved into home 3 weeks ago. Judge was far too lenient afterwards. Good guy is property manager. Set to evict troublesome pair.
