Stripped Receiver Thread

So....what say I have a stripped receiver thread for my mossberg 500? What now? lol. This is frustrating. i was attaching a knoxx spec ops stock to it and apparently I stripped the receiver. Because now the original stock and the spec ops has a nice gap to both when the bolt is as tight as it will go. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Clint

If you take it to a machine shop, they can drill out the threads and put in a "HeliCoil" insert. These are used in the aircraft industry to replace stripped out threads.
