I have a model 98 yugoslavian mauser. The front site is covered by a shroud. How do I adjust the front site with out bending the front site cover?
Thanks! ordo |

Ordo, there should be a screw through the shroud. Remove it and the shroud comes off easily then you can drift the front sight. George

Thanks George. I put on my glasses and had a good look again and no screw holding it in place. I may try drifting it off with a wood dowel. I think it may be a friction fit?

Correct. Friction fit. If wood doesn't work (compression or splinters), use a piece of brass or nylon.
