Reloading 10mm My 1st batch

I have a Para Ordnance P-16 Limited that I had the barrel reamed out to 10mm. My first batch of reloads were 180 gr. bullets with 7.2 gr. of Power pistol. Fired fine but nothing special so on to 7.9 gr. and things picked up quickly. My last batch was 8.3 gr. a big bang and an orange flash....man I like this! Stay tuned...........

So far, so good... I usually use 8.5 grains of Power Pistol with a 180 grain FMJ bullet in my Glock 20 with its Jarvis barrel. Great powder, isn't it?

It does make quite a loud bark, though.

If you really want smokin' loads at safe pressures, try AAC#7. Hodgdon HS-7 will also beat out the faster powders.

I've had good luck with HS-6 (similar to PP) in moderate loads in 10MM, but it won't smoke 'em out like AAC#7.

If you want a truly great load in 10MM, get some Winchester 155 silvertips and work up to a max charge of AAC#7. (Max by pressure ring expansion method)

Being careful, you should still get over 1450fps with this load. Depending on the gun, you might do even better. My Glock 20 with BarSto barrel loves this combo.
