Advice please: Putting a fixed-rifle stock on a carbine.

I am kind of digging Magpul's new fixed rifle stock.

My current set up is a generic, 16" carbine with a 6-position stock. As far as I know I have a generic spring and buffer in there now. If I were to switch over to a full-size, fixed stock is there a particular spring and/or buffer I would need to buy?

(I know I would need a rifle-length buffer tube).

When you switch to a rifle length buffer tube, you also need to switch to a rifle length buffer.

If you use the carbine buffer with a rifle length tube, you will damage your lower receiver. During recoil, the bolt carrier will not stop until the carrier key smacks the receiver ring. After it hits enough times, your receiver will crack.
